Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy (Cairo & Giza)

About the role

Elezaby Pharmacy, a leading pharmacy chain in Egypt, is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join its Cairo and Giza branches. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, providing accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately, ensuring correct labeling, dosage, and directions.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, and appropriateness.
• Maintain patient records and manage inventory control.
• Provide comprehensive counseling on prescription and over‑the‑counter products.
• Answer patient questions and address health‑related concerns.
• Educate patients on the proper use of OTC medications and health products.
• Communicate daily with insurance companies to obtain approvals.
• Handle customer payments and complete transactions.
• Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and additional operational duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Experience working as a pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and sound pharmaceutical decision‑making skills.
• Proven ability to provide patient counseling on medications and health products.
