Physics Researcher – Remote, $250 per task

About the role

We are looking for a qualified physics expert to design and solve challenging physics problems that test the limits of large language models. This remote, task‑based position lasts three months and offers flexible hours with a minimum of four hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original physics problems covering topics from early undergraduate to PhD level.
• Create clear, step‑by‑step solutions with well‑articulated reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problems with evaluation goals and identify model weaknesses.
• Define new evaluation benchmarks based on physics curricula.
• Provide detailed annotations and constructive feedback for AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s, PhD, or post‑doctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
• Strong research and analytical abilities with a structured, logical problem‑solving approach.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop.
