Planning & Logistics Manager – High‑Speed Railway

About the role

The Planning & Logistics Manager will lead the Asset Information, Planning and Logistics function for the high‑speed railway project in Egypt. Reporting to the Chief Maintenance Officer, you will ensure maintenance schedules, resource planning and logistics are fully aligned with ISO 55000:2024 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the Asset Information Management framework and document control per ISO 55000:2024.
• Validate the asset register and NAT handover data within the CMMS.
• Develop annual and three‑year preventive maintenance forecasts to guide budgeting and resource allocation.
• Monitor scheduling performance, oversee statutory inspections and approve all preventive maintenance plans.
• Approve spare‑parts strategy, first‑fill inventory programme and site logistics, including Approved Vendor Lists.
• Coordinate with the DBEE Procurement Team to align sourcing and supplier qualification with maintenance needs.
• Oversee third‑party contractor activities, access plans and deviation reports.
• Track inventory and contractor KPIs, driving corrective actions as required.
• Ensure CMMS operational integrity, data accuracy, user‑access governance and staff training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in maintenance planning, asset information management or facilities management.
• At least 5 years in a senior planning or logistics role on major infrastructure or transport projects.

Required skills

• Advanced CMMS configuration and master‑data governance.
• KPI reporting and performance monitoring.
