Planning Manager – Supply Chain & Inventory

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead end‑to‑end planning and inventory management for all business units at EGMED. You will drive demand forecasting, S&OP cycles, and production scheduling to ensure optimal stock levels and supply continuity across medical devices, consumables, and raw materials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual) for all product categories.
• Facilitate the monthly S&OP process, preparing meeting packs, gap analyses, and aligning commercial commitments with supply capacity.
• Define safety stock, reorder points, and ABC/XYZ segmentation for ~4,000 SKUs; monitor inventory health metrics such as DSOH and excess & obsolete inventory.
• Execute physical and cycle counts, reconcile system balances in the ERP, and drive inventory reduction initiatives while maintaining service levels.
• Create and release Master Production Schedules for Make‑to‑Stock and Make‑to‑Order items.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning, S&OP, and inventory optimization within a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and product lifecycles.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, working with sales, marketing, procurement, and finance teams.
