Primary English Teacher - National Curriculum

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is recruiting a dedicated English teacher for the Primary Stage under the Egyptian National Curriculum, based on site at Madinaty Integrated Language School in Madinaty, New Cairo. The role suits educators who want to help young learners build a strong foundation in English language and literature.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Egyptian National Curriculum for primary students, developing core English skills.
• Create a supportive classroom that encourages curiosity, independence and collaboration.
• Use varied methods and resources to meet different learning styles and improve comprehension and communication.
• Assess students regularly through assignments, tests and informal evaluation, giving timely feedback.
• Build positive relationships with students and involve them in class discussions.
• Communicate progress with parents and involve them in learning.
• Work with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
• Keep up with best practices through continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education or a related field.
• Teaching experience with primary students; at least 1 year, preferably with the National Curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of English and the ability to inspire young learners.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Willingness to grow professionally and contribute to the school community.
