Process Shift Leader

About the role

As a Process Shift Leader you will be at the heart of Danone’s manufacturing operations, guiding a shift team to meet production targets while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, cost, and delivery. You will ensure smooth day‑to‑day performance across the processing area and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and enforce Danone’s 13 WISE safety elements, conduct incident investigations and weekly safety sessions.
• Maintain full compliance with Food Safety, GMP, AIB and HACCP standards, monitor quality parameters and lead product quality investigations.
• Validate incoming material quality, work with suppliers and the Material Quality Manager on corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and execute Food Safety Planned Maintenance programs to prevent product non‑conformities.
• Reduce losses of milk, raw material and finished goods through monitoring, analysis and root‑cause resolution, including fat and protein balance analysis.
• Control utility consumption (power and chemicals) and manage overtime based on factory utilization.
• Execute and adjust the weekly production plan, manage daily direction‑setting, track downtime and resolve material shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Improve operational efficiency of key equipment such as Pre‑Pasto, Pasto and Sterilizer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience in a similar role, preferably in dairy manufacturing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
