Procurement Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to manage sourcing, purchasing and vendor relations for our logistics park in Port Said. The role focuses on construction materials, equipment and logistics supplies, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes for construction, equipment and warehousing supplies.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers and contractors.
• Manage contracts, ensuring compliance with quality, cost and delivery standards.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to optimise purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering and warehouse teams to forecast material needs.
• Oversee import/export procedures and customs clearance for the free‑zone location.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, vendor databases and procurement records.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team and present spend analysis to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or logistics park operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment sourcing and logistics supplies.
• Experience with import/export processes and customs regulations, especially in Port Said Free Zone.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor‑management abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Port Said and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
