Procurement Manager

About the role

The International Marine Shipping Company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for marine spare parts, stores, equipment, and services. The role supports vessel operations by ensuring cost‑effective and timely procurement while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with cost‑efficiency goals.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Manage supplier contracts and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Coordinate procurement of marine spare parts, stores, equipment, and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technical, and Finance departments to meet vessel requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and best procurement practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in shipping, maritime, or logistics.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
