Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead regional sourcing activities for raw materials, packaging and indirect spend, building a resilient supply base while delivering cost reductions, quality improvements and reliable vendor service for Egypt and the wider region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role sits on the Site Leadership Team and drives change, standards and strategic planning across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute regional sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging and indirect services.
• Procure required items on time, cost‑effectively and in line with business needs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance and other departments to communicate supply issues and provide up‑to‑date commodity pricing.
• Negotiate contracts, improve pricing and terms, and identify new savings opportunities.
• Track commodity prices and make strategic buying decisions based on market data.
• Lead cost‑saving projects that add value to the regional P&L.
• Monitor SKU and category spend performance, seeking continuous cost reductions.
• Conduct vendor selection and negotiations to build a trustworthy, resilient supplier base.
• Identify and source new vendors or raw materials needed within the region.
• Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and business value.

Required profile

• Senior‑level leader with proven experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Strong decision‑making ability and comfort influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to work cross‑functionally and drive change.
• Experience managing regional spend across raw materials, packaging and indirect categories.
