Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will build and lead the end‑to‑end procurement function for Portaluna, the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape sourcing strategy, establish supplier networks and ensure that all goods and services meet the brand’s ultra‑luxury standards from pre‑opening through daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the full procurement framework, including policies, workflows, approval processes and governance.
• Lead sourcing and procurement for FF&E, OS&E, services and all operational requirements for the hotel launch.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard local and international suppliers aligned with brand standards and project timelines.
• Collaborate with design, project, finance and operations teams to align specifications, budgets and delivery schedules.
• Develop tracking systems, reporting tools and dashboards to ensure transparency from day one.
• Manage day‑to‑day procurement activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance and cost effectiveness.
• Oversee supplier performance, contract negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Monitor budgets, purchase orders and spend analysis to support financial discipline.
• Maintain strong relationships with regional and global suppliers and act as a commercial partner to all hotel departments.
• Ensure all procurement activities reflect Portaluna and Morgans Originals brand standards, ethical sourcing and sustainability.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the hospitality or luxury retail sector.
• Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in budget monitoring and spend analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
