Procurement Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the Procurement and Logistics team at the Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) in Port Fuad. The role focuses on driving procurement efficiency, ensuring agile and reliable terminal operations, and delivering value to customers through cost‑effective sourcing and strong supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with SCCT and regional objectives.
• Manage OPEX spend portfolio and support CAPEX initiatives in collaboration with global APMT procurement.
• Oversee tender processes, supplier evaluation, selection, and contract management.
• Lead a high‑performing procurement team, fostering engagement, talent development, and regular performance conversations.
• Implement transparent procurement policies, controls, and processes to mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and achieve P&L savings targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement and logistics functions, preferably in a terminal or large‑scale industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of OPEX and CAPEX procurement, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
