Procurement Specialist (Associate)

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level Procurement Specialist to support its supply chain operations in Egypt. Working under direct supervision, you will help ensure that material requirements for manufacturing, field operations, and projects are met efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders in response to material requirements from manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management.
• Execute Category Management strategy in line with company policies.
• Expedite, de‑expedite, and process change orders to meet plant or project demands.
• Analyze and resolve basic Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GRIR) issues with guidance.
• Assist in creating Request for Quotations (RFQ) and organizing competitive bidding.
• Support supplier performance assessment activities.

Required profile

• Completed an undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or related discipline.
• Entry‑level experience (approximately 1 month) or a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow established procurement procedures.
