Procurement Team Lead – Medical & Scientific Procurement

About the role

The Procurement Team Lead will drive the company’s purchasing activities, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing, strong supplier relationships, and timely delivery of materials and services that support scientific and medical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily procurement operations and manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal quality, price, and delivery terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to guarantee material availability.
• Analyze market trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and track procurement KPIs.
• Resolve supplier issues and ensure on‑time delivery of goods and services.
• Mentor and support members of the procurement team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or medical field (e.g., Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Agriculture).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in domestic procurement or supply‑chain management.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
