Product Architect – EDA Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Product Architect to join Siemens Digital Industries Software in Cairo. In this role you will become an expert on Siemens EDA tools, especially Calibre RET, and support customers in optical lithography, IC fabrication and Design for Manufacturability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise and customise Siemens EDA tools for optical lithography, IC fabrication and DFM.
• Provide on‑site and remote consultancy to FAB and fab‑less customers, delivering tailored Resolution Enhancement Techniques (RET) solutions.
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales to deliver technical support and drive adoption of Calibre RET tools.
• Collaborate with R&D to align customer feedback with the latest product developments.
• Monitor the EDA market, competitors and major accounts to inform strategy.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Communications.
• Willingness to travel 50‑80 % of the time for customer engagements.
• Strong understanding of the IC fabrication flow and optics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet critical deadlines.

Required skills

• Siemens Calibre RET tools (customisation and usage).
• Optical lithography and Design for Manufacturability concepts.
• Tcl/Tk scripting and Python (advantage).
• Unix/Linux operating systems.
