Product Owner / Service Designer (Mid‑level, 4.5 months, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Product Owner / Service Designer to join a remote project for 4.5 months. You will translate user needs and business goals into a clear product vision and design efficient service workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision, manage priorities and support delivery of initiatives.
• Conduct service‑design activities, including journey mapping and service blueprinting.
• Gather, analyse and translate business and user requirements into actionable product backlog items.
• Prioritise backlog based on business value, user impact and project objectives.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, business stakeholders and operational teams.
• Facilitate workshops, ensure stakeholder alignment and communicate decisions.
• Define and optimise operational workflows to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Analyse feedback, identify gaps and recommend continuous‑improvement actions.
• Document processes, requirements, user journeys and service‑design outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in product ownership, service design, UX design or business analysis.
• Proven ability to manage product requirements, prioritise work and align stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of service‑design methods, journey mapping and user‑centred design principles.
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
