Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer ensures that manufacturing lines operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting quality standards. Working closely with supervisors, maintenance teams, and planning staff, the role coordinates daily workflows, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Receive monthly production plans and translate them into detailed workflow schedules.
• Interpret shop drawings and lead manufacturing processes with supervisors.
• Review weekly machine loading plans and initiate production based on approved designs.
• Request materials from inventory according to job specifications.
• Monitor production execution to ensure compliance with defined processes.
• Track quality standards, address observations from the quality team, and maintain daily production reports.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
• Align progress with project, planning, and quality teams.
• Provide technical assistance to supervisors and technicians as needed.
• Verify machine safety checklists and enforce safety regulations.
• Maintain production logs in line with the management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control systems.
• Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous professional development.
