Production Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineer to lead daily manufacturing activities, ensure product quality, and drive continuous improvement in a sheet‑metal environment. The role collaborates closely with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams to keep production flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet targets.
• Monitor processes for compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Analyze performance data and launch continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Track machine utilization and optimize manpower allocation for maximum efficiency.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Production or Industrial).
• 2–5 years of experience as a Production Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in sheet‑metal manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.
