Production Engineer – Sheet Metal Fabrication

About the role

Seismic Stop Solutions Industries (TAV Triple S) is expanding its manufacturing capacity and seeks a Production Engineer with deep expertise in precision sheet‑metal fabrication. You will be responsible for ensuring that seismic bracing, framing, and containment systems are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and optimize sheet‑metal processes such as punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
• Translate CAD/SolidWorks drawings into manufacturing steps, selecting optimal nesting and tooling strategies.
• Maintain strict quality and compliance standards for structural and seismic components.
• Oversee setup, operation, and preventive maintenance of CNC equipment (fiber lasers, press brakes, CNC punches).
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to reduce cycle time, scrap, and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and QA teams to resolve bottlenecks and apply Design for Manufacturing principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in a sheet‑metal fabrication environment.
• Proven track record of process optimization and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with structural/mechanical components for seismic restraints or industrial framing is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Sheet‑metal fabrication techniques (punching, laser cutting, bending, welding – TIG/MIG/Spot).
• CNC machinery operation and maintenance (fiber lasers, press brakes, CNC punches).
• CAD/CAM software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• CNC programming tools: TruTops, AP100 or equivalent nesting software.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, root‑cause analysis (8D, Fishbone).
