Production Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Production Pharmacist to supervise the manufacturing of solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules. The role ensures full compliance with GMP, meets production targets and guarantees product quality, safety and efficiency across all stages.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise dispensing, granulation, blending, compression, coating and encapsulation operations.
• Execute production activities according to approved SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
• Monitor critical process parameters (e.g., blending time, compression force, coating settings) and maintain environmental limits (temperature, humidity, differential pressure).
• Verify line clearance, document all activities in batch records and logbooks, and review BMRs for completeness.
• Ensure GMP, hygiene and safety standards are met, and report deviations, incidents and non‑conformities.
• Coordinate with QA, QC and Engineering, support equipment cleaning, sanitation and validation activities.
• Track equipment performance, flag maintenance needs and drive process optimisation to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Train and supervise operators on SOPs, GMP and safety practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related science.
• 0–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably with solid dosage forms.
• Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs and batch documentation.
• Ability to work in a regulated production environment and follow safety procedures.
