Production Planning and Scheduling Assistant Analyst

About the role

The Production Planning and Scheduling Assistant Analyst supports the creation and execution of daily and weekly production plans, ensuring alignment with sales targets and market dynamics. This role works closely with manufacturing, material planning, and commercial teams to maintain plan compliance and optimize asset utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Set daily and weekly production plans based on sales AOP and forecast adjustments.
• Review daily production attainment, analyse gaps, and ensure monthly plan compliance.
• Manage export volumes, coordinate order quantities with warehouses and deployment teams.
• Synchronise production plans with raw material stocks and deliveries in collaboration with the material planning team.
• Run the master production scheduler on the ISCP system, develop root‑cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with manufacturing and engineering to avoid production disruptions.
• Collaborate with the commercial team on forecast numbers, demand fluctuations, and new SKU launches.
• Improve asset utilization by reducing change‑over times on production lines.

Required profile

• Solid experience in supply chain functions, preferably in FMCG environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Ability to use processes and tools to improve performance standards.

Required skills

• Experience with the ISCP production scheduling system.
• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
