Project Control Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Project Control Engineer to develop, maintain and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. The role supports progress measurement, reporting and coordination with engineering and procurement teams to ensure accurate project tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schedule activity lists, logic, durations and milestones in P6/MS Project.
• Perform resource loading, calculate engineering hours and non‑labor units, and update actual progress.
• Generate S‑curves, histograms and progress dashboards, and support Power BI updates.
• Identify schedule variances, assist in recovery planning and monitor critical activities.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to obtain deliverable and long‑lead item data.
• Maintain logs of delays, risks and contemporaneous records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and meeting minutes.
• Review tenderer and contractor schedules and participate in client or contractor meetings as needed.
• Support the preparation of historical project reports.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in project planning or cost control (preferred).
• Foundational training in Primavera P6 or MS Project and strong MS Office skills.
• Clear communication in Arabic and English.
