Project Coordinator – Building Automation (Egypt)

About the role

The Project Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for all technical interface matters related to Building Management Systems (BMS) and light‑current systems on projects in Egypt. You will ensure seamless communication between internal teams, external partners and customers, supporting the delivery of projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical interfaces across multiple disciplines, focusing on BMS and light‑current systems throughout all project phases.
• Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of projects, aligning technical requirements with overall project goals.
• Monitor and track interface‑related activities, provide regular updates to stakeholders and mitigate associated risks.
• Facilitate technical discussions, reviews and approvals to resolve interface issues.
• Work with engineering teams to verify and validate interface designs and solutions.
• Provide technical input for variation orders and contractual claims, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Follow up on retention and defects liability punch‑lists to close out work packages.
• Define subcontractor and supplier requirements and collaborate with the supply‑chain function.
• Promote a safe working environment on site and lead achievement of safety targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating technical interfaces for BMS or similar building automation projects.
• Strong communication skills to manage relationships with customers, contractors and internal teams.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks, and to drive issue resolution.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, variation orders and defects liability processes.
• Commitment to health and safety standards on construction sites.
