Project Management Engineer

About the role

The Project Management Engineer will lead bus manufacturing projects from concept to delivery at MCV’s Cairo plant. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations while staying on schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Prepare regular status reports and track key performance indicators.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, quality and supplier teams.
• Document project activities and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimisation across the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination and risk management.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle in the automotive or commercial‑vehicle sector.
• Ability to analyse data, prepare reports and work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
