Project Manager for Transition Projects

About the role

The Project Manager for Transition Projects will lead the migration of SAP, Microsoft and other enterprise IT systems into modern data‑center environments, including hyperscaler facilities. The role acts as the main liaison for customers throughout the project lifecycle and ensures seamless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor end‑to‑end transitions of enterprise IT platforms to data‑center locations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from project initiation to closure.
• Collaborate with sub‑project managers across all service areas to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Work closely with teams in the Alexandria office and international partners to share knowledge and maintain consistency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an IT project manager, preferably in IT transitions, data‑center migrations or outsourcing.
• Strong understanding of operational requirements for SAP and Microsoft enterprise systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant project‑management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (highly desirable).
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a strong asset.
