Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

Arcera is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects within its pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Al Obour City, Egypt. The role reports to the Egypt Site Head and requires hands‑on expertise to ensure projects meet GMP, safety, quality, timeline and budget requirements while supporting overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, deliverables, timelines and resource needs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Production, QA, Engineering, Supply Chain and EHS.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and all regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, risks and key performance indicators.
• Manage project budgets and CAPEX spending.
• Drive risk assessment and mitigation plans.
• Provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage contractors and vendors where applicable.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or another regulated industry.
• Proven track record managing cross‑functional projects.
• Strong background in project lifecycle management, planning and scheduling.
• Expertise in CAPEX budgeting and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability in risk assessment and mitigation.
• In‑depth knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Effective coordination of cross‑functional teams and stakeholder management.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication and leadership skills.
