Projects & Installation Engineer – Industrial Doors & Loading Docks

About the role

ALMOSALLAMY Egypt is seeking a proactive Projects & Installation Engineer to lead site surveys, oversee installation execution, and manage handovers for industrial doors, rolling shutters, sectional doors, loading docks, automatic gates, and access systems. The role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on site work, solving practical installation challenges, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys to verify opening dimensions, civil works, electrical requirements, steel supports, and overall site readiness.
• Review approved drawings and specifications before issuing manufacturing or installation instructions.
• Prepare survey reports, measurement sheets, installation checklists, material lists, and handover documentation.
• Supervise installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, sales, technical office, production, warehouse, and logistics throughout project execution.
• Resolve on‑site technical issues, missing requirements, and installation challenges promptly.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, adjustment, and final handover of doors, gates, motors, control panels, sensors, and safety devices.
• Document project progress, prepare regular reports, and flag risks that may affect delivery.
• Provide after‑sales support, maintenance, warranty actions, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in site engineering, project execution, installation, commissioning, or maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead installation teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
