Projects Sales Engineer

About the role

The Projects Sales Engineer will drive new project sales for Alarabia Group, acting as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams. You will identify opportunities, design engineering solutions, and manage the full sales cycle to secure contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead sales initiatives by generating leads, nurturing prospects, and closing project contracts.
• Design technical solutions in collaboration with clients, translating engineering challenges into tailored proposals.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and quotations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry conditions to identify new business avenues.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience in project or technical sales with a strong record of meeting targets.
• Academic background in Mechanical Engineering (or Electrical Engineering) with solid technical understanding.
• Demonstrated expertise in sales methodologies, lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation and deal closing.
• Good grasp of project lifecycles and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
