Proposal Engineer Manager

About the role

The Proposal Engineer Manager will lead the preparation, review, and submission of technical and commercial proposals for engineering and consulting projects. Based on‑site in Qesm Heliopolis, the role ensures proposals meet client requirements and align with ECB’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and business development teams to define proposal scope and gather technical input.
• Estimate resources, develop pricing structures, and manage proposal timelines.
• Organize documentation, integrate multidisciplinary inputs, and maintain proposal templates and best practices.
• Supervise and mentor proposal engineers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Support continuous process improvements and contribute to strategic bid planning.

Required profile

• Strong engineering management and project management background.
• Proven team leadership abilities to supervise proposal teams and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience in consulting or EPC environments with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Familiarity with engineering software tools for modeling, documentation, and workflow optimization.
