Public Area Attendant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

The Public Area Attendant ensures that all public spaces of Rixos Premium Seagate – including lobbies, restaurants, bars, ballrooms and corridors – are clean, tidy and welcoming for guests. Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and polish public areas, corridors, changing rooms, restrooms and administrative offices.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets, mop floors and treat marble surfaces.
• Wash windows, wipe walls and ceilings, dust curtains and clean furniture.
• Empty garbage bins, manage lost‑and‑found items and report any suspicious objects or persons.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring proper usage and reporting breakdowns.
• Support restaurant, bar and ballroom cleaning, including vacuuming and window cleaning.
• Participate in emergency response teams and follow security procedures.
• Assist with environmental initiatives such as energy saving, waste reduction and sustainable resource use.

Required profile

• Clean, friendly and hygienic appearance.
• Ability to follow instructions, attend training and work under supervision.
• Awareness of security and safety protocols.
• Willingness to contribute to environmental and energy‑saving programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using standard cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, window cleaning tools).
