Purchase Specialist – Procurement & Supplier Management

About the role

The Purchase Specialist will support El Abd Group by managing supplier relationships, sourcing products, and ensuring timely delivery of quality items. You will work closely with internal project teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective suppliers.
• Liaise with internal project teams and maintain strong supplier relations.
• Evaluate products and suppliers against key business criteria.
• Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms.
• Issue purchase orders and agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and address quality shortcomings.
• Analyze industry and demand trends to support sourcing strategies.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Male, maximum age 29.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a purchasing specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Team player with solid organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
