Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will support Hikma's commitment to delivering high‑quality medicines by ensuring that production processes, raw materials and equipment meet regulatory and internal standards. This entry‑level position is ideal for a recent pharmacy graduate eager to start a career in pharmaceutical quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular investigations to verify that staff follow safety procedures.
• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with GMP and company quality standards.
• Execute pre‑ and post‑production quality checks and generate related reports.
• Oversee issuance and weighing of raw materials, approve material release, and ensure storage complies with regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor plant conditions such as humidity and temperature to meet set specifications.
• Check machine conformity to standards and support periodic maintenance activities.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a grade of “Very good” or “Excellent”.
• Fresh graduate status.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good understanding of QA processes and Agile development methodology.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.
• Quality auditing techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
