Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join its manufacturing site in 6th of October City. The role supports the company’s commitment to delivering high‑quality medicines by ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular investigations to verify that workers follow safety procedures.
• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with GMP and company quality standards.
• Execute pre‑ and post‑production quality checks and generate related reports.
• Oversee issuance and weighing of raw materials, approve material release, and ensure storage complies with regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor plant conditions such as humidity and temperature to meet set specifications.
• Check machine conformity to standards and support periodic maintenance activities.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a grade of Very Good or Excellent.
• Fresh graduate status is acceptable.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Good understanding of GMP requirements.
• Experience with quality audits and quality control procedures.
• Knowledge of raw‑material handling and weighing processes.
• Familiarity with equipment conformity checks and maintenance planning.
