Quality Control Engineer

About the role

Elsewedy Electric is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to lead and coordinate quality activities across its production lines. You will ensure that products meet internal and customer standards while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute quality control, type test, and inspection plans aligned with master delivery schedules.
• Update internal quality standards based on operational changes.
• Submit technical documents to testing labs, including drawings, datasheets, and shipment details.
• Manage non‑conformities and drive corrective‑action implementation.
• Provide quality inputs during order and contract review cycles.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to control product flow and prevent premature shipment.
• Receive, analyze, and release finished products after testing.
• Maintain 24/7 quality discipline across three shifts.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and work instructions, communicating them to direct reports.
• Track test results to secure required certifications.
• Schedule jobs to maximize manpower and resource utilization.
• Train quality supervisors and technicians to enhance performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management approval.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in quality control or a similar engineering role.
• Strong grasp of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards.
• Experience with inspection, testing, and measurement equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and quality management software.
