Quality Control Senior Specialist - Finished Products

About the role

Arcera, a global life sciences company developing, manufacturing and commercializing medicines, is hiring a Quality Control Senior Specialist for its factory in El Obour City, Egypt. The specialist performs and reviews chemical and physical analysis of finished products for market release and stability study batches, reports to the Quality Control Section Head and works on site. The position is filled under a Legacy Amoun contract.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and review chemical and physical analysis for finished products of market release and stability study batches.
• Prepare and review all documents related to finished product chemical and physical analysis.
• Record all analysis results on the SAP system.
• Perform and review daily calibration of chemical and physical laboratory equipment.
• Contribute to preparing working standards for chemical analysis and control reference samples for finished products.
• Help identify chemical and physical laboratory needs for analysis.
• Take part in investigations of out-of-specification results.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Science (Chemistry).
• 3 to 5 years of solid experience in a quality department.
• Excellent command of English is a must.
