Quality Lead - Electrical

About the role

Scatec is seeking a Quality Lead – Electrical to ensure the quality and compliance of electrical works across its renewable energy projects in Egypt. The role involves providing quality management support throughout the delivery phase, covering inspection, testing, documentation and corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the source of best practice for quality management of electrical construction and installation activities.
• Prepare, maintain and review the Electrical Quality Plan, inspection and test plans, method statements and related documentation.
• Maintain electrical quality records, certificates, test results and installation quality logs.
• Identify, register and manage quality issues related to equipment, cabling, earthing, terminations, testing and installation.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans and produce quality reports.
• Perform on‑site quality checks of electrical works, including equipment installation, cable routing, terminations, earthing and required testing.
• Ensure adequate resources are available for effective quality management.
• Lead and manage a team of electrical inspectors to execute the quality control procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical quality management within construction or renewable energy projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a team of electrical inspectors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards, testing and commissioning procedures.
