Quantity Surveyor Engineer

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor Engineer will work closely with the SAP team to design and operate efficient contract management processes within the SAP ERP environment. The role ensures that all contract documentation, BOQs and progress reports are accurate, compliant and aligned with industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SAP team to develop and implement contract management workflows in SAP ERP.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations and best practices related to contract and abstract management.
• Review, classify and analyse Bill of Quantities (BOQs) across Civil, Architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to prepare and review progress sheets during contract execution.
• Extract essential contract information and produce summaries, abstracts and detailed reports.
• Monitor compliance with contractual requirements and track performance of active contracts.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contract documentation in SAP, including amendments, change orders and terminations.
• Provide advice to internal teams on contractual matters to mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering.
• Deep familiarity with contract abstracts and the “Abstract of Bids” process.
• Strong analytical ability to translate site language into ERP data.
