Receiving Associate – Hospitality

About the role

The Receiving Associate will ensure that all incoming shipments to our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt are accurately inspected, recorded, and stored. This position supports the smooth operation of the hotel by maintaining inventory integrity and collaborating with procurement and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming shipments for correct quantity, quality, and damage.
• Verify goods against purchase orders or requisitions and report discrepancies.
• Organise and maintain storage areas in an orderly, safe manner.
• Update inventory records in the system and monitor stock levels.
• Complete and file all required paperwork, including delivery notes and receipts.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist in distributing supplies to relevant hotel departments.
• Handle hazardous materials or perishable goods according to safety regulations.
• Communicate any delivery issues or delays to appropriate parties.
• Support the purchasing department with supply‑chain challenges and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in warehouse or supply‑chain management is a plus.
• Prior experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse management.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Physical capability to lift and move supplies safely.
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems and administrative processes.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
