About the role
The Receiving Clerk will join The Grocer’s warehouse team at its El Sahel and Cairo branches. This position is focused on managing incoming food and beverage shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and proper stock placement. The role supports the smooth operation of the supply chain by maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and unload food and beverage shipments according to company procedures.
- Perform inventory control checks to verify quantities and condition of goods.
- Handle stock placement, labeling, and storage while maintaining organized warehouse zones.
- Record receipt details in the warehouse management system and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve receiving issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Previous experience working in food or beverage warehouses.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Knowledge of receiving processes.
- Inventory control techniques.
- Stock handling procedures.
