Receptionist – Front Office (Hotel)

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at Rixos Premium Seagate, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and delivering a friendly, professional service throughout the stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform guest entry and exit procedures, including check‑in, check‑out and VIP, COMP, HOUSE‑USE monitoring.
• Handle foreign currency exchange transactions and manage the cash register at the start and end of each shift.
• Enter departmental cash revenues, issue reminders for pending check‑outs, and coordinate room extensions with Housekeeping.
• Address guest complaints, breakdown reports, and special requests, forwarding them to the appropriate departments.
• Monitor hotel occupancy, reservations, and unguaranteed optional bookings, notifying the Reservations team as needed.
• Maintain the log book, record wake‑up call requests, and gather information on hotel events.
• Participate in front‑office meetings, trainings, and emergency response teams.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Front Office Manager’s operational instructions and procedures.
• Knowledge of night‑audit procedures and cash handling.
• Strong representation skills – professional attire, conduct and speech.
• Excellent guest service attitude, always greeting and bidding farewell in a friendly manner.
• Awareness of emergency contacts (hospitals, taxis, police, etc.).
