Recreation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Recreation Manager to lead and coordinate a wide range of leisure activities for our hotel guests. You will design, implement, and oversee programs that enhance the guest experience while aligning with our brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise recreational programs such as fitness classes, pool activities, sports, arts & crafts, games and outdoor excursions.
• Develop new activities based on guest feedback and interests, ensuring relevance to the hotel’s demographic.
• Manage scheduling, promotion and execution of activities to maximise participation.
• Provide excellent customer service, respond to guest feedback, and resolve any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and functionality of all recreation facilities and equipment.
• Enforce safety regulations, train staff in emergency procedures and monitor guest safety during activities.
• Assist with marketing and promotion of recreational offerings to both current and prospective guests.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role at a luxury resort or hotel (preferred).
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Creative, energetic and child‑friendly personality.
• Excellent communication and guest‑engagement skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
