Remote Domain Expert – AI Training Review

About the role

Turing is looking for highly qualified remote domain experts to evaluate AI training problems and research environments for frontier AI labs. You will assess the scientific realism, design quality, and grading accuracy of each task, providing detailed feedback without solving the problems yourself.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI training problems and research setups built for leading LLM companies.
• Determine whether each problem is scientifically realistic, well‑designed, and correctly graded.
• Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations for each task (30–90 minutes per task).
• Collaborate remotely with Turing’s research and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Master's degree, PhD, or at least 4 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Phylogenetics, or Computer Science (AI/ML).
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Ability to start immediately and pass a background verification process.
• Strong independent work ethic and excellent structured communication in a remote setting.
