Remote PHP Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our fully remote team on a full‑time basis. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust server‑side web applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP‑based back‑end services and web applications.
• Optimize code for performance and security, and integrate third‑party APIs.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, write efficient queries, and manage data schemas.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to deliver seamless user‑facing features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, conduct code reviews, and maintain clear documentation.
• Follow software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and debugging.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in back‑end web development with PHP.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Working knowledge of front‑end development to cooperate effectively with UI/UX teams.
• Experience with version control (Git), testing, and debugging.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL), RESTful APIs, and web security best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony) and agile methodologies is a plus.
