Remote Physics Professor (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Physics Professor to join our client’s research team on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with international scientists while contributing to cutting‑edge quantum physics research.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute independent and collaborative research projects in quantum mechanics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Publish original findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, providing project guidance and manuscript feedback.
• Develop and refine theoretical models to interpret experimental data or propose new hypotheses.
• Secure external funding through grant proposals and partnerships with academic or industry partners.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics with a focus on quantum physics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• At least 5 years of postdoctoral research experience.
• Strong publication record in top‑tier journals such as Physical Review Letters or Nature Physics.
• Experience mentoring graduate students and junior researchers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for scientific computing.
• Advanced use of Mathematica.
• Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics.
