About the role

The Reporter will join Nile University’s communications team in El Mansoura, producing clear and engaging news stories that highlight the university’s academic achievements, events, and community initiatives. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a strong journalistic mindset and the ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research, gather and verify information on university activities and broader educational trends.
• Interview sources, attend campus events and produce written articles, newsletters and multimedia pieces.
• Ensure all content complies with editorial standards, journalistic ethics and university guidelines.
• Collaborate with the communication and marketing teams to create material for digital channels, internal publications and newsletters.
• Maintain organized archives of interviews, photos, videos and other reporting materials.
• Track emerging stories and continuously refine storytelling approaches for diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, Communications or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Proven ability to work on‑site in El Mansoura, manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in educational or institutional reporting and familiarity with digital newsrooms is beneficial.
