Research & Development Specialist – Pharmaceutical Formulation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Research & Development Specialist to join our pharmaceutical team. You will work on formulation development and optimisation at lab and pilot scale, supporting the transition of successful candidates to full‑scale production.

Key responsibilities

• Execute formulation trials and drive optimisation activities.
• Develop and validate analytical methods; analyse trial data.
• Prepare prototype batches, perform in‑process checks and record accurate data.
• Draft and review development documentation such as protocols, reports and batch records.
• Define testing plans, interpret results and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support scale‑up and technology transfer, including production trials and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Pharmacy.
• 0–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong documentation skills, problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
