Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor ensures that the dining area operates smoothly, staff work together as a cohesive team, and guests receive excellent service. This full‑time, on‑site position involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining standards, and supporting the management team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the venue.
• Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO principles and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, stock supplies, and requisition necessary items.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and report incidents.
• Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and ensure a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in food and beverage or hospitality.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
