Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor ensures that the dining area operates smoothly, guests receive excellent service, and the team works cohesively. This full‑time position is based at 16 Saray El Gezira Street, Cairo, and reports to the restaurant manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and correct any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Maintain organized storage areas, enforce FIFO, and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, stock supplies, and requisition necessary items.
• Monitor dining room seating, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
• Uphold company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices.
• Ability to conduct inventories and stock management.
• Strong team leadership and communication abilities.
