Retail Sales Assistant – Cairo Festival City

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join the IKEA team at Cairo Festival City. You will be the first point of contact for guests, helping them find the right products, ensuring the store is well‑presented and supporting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of the sales area to verify price labels, product tags and promotional media.
• Monitor stock levels, suggest orders to the shopkeeper and coordinate with the procurement executive.
• Engage with customers, gather feedback, understand their needs and provide product advice.
• Prepare pro‑forma invoices, follow up on quotations and keep customers informed about new items.
• Identify sales opportunities, suggest add‑on items and achieve personal and team sales targets.
• Maintain full product displays using IKEA merchandising standards and keep the range up‑to‑date.
• Report slow‑moving or non‑selling items and propose actions to improve turnover.
• Stay informed about local market trends, promotions and product changes.

Required profile

• Secondary education.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar retail sales role.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
