Sales Account Manager

About the role

Fawaterak is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of our existing merchants and partners portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants and regularly understand their needs and business challenges.
• Drive upselling and cross‑selling of Fawaterak's products and services across the existing merchant base.
• Manage merchant activation, ensuring signed merchants are successfully onboarded and become active.
• Drive transaction volume growth and increase the overall contribution of the assigned portfolio.
• Monitor merchant performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, usage, retention, and revenue.
• Manage merchants acquired through partnerships, ensuring successful activation and continuous growth.
• Build strong relationships with partner‑referred merchants and support them throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to resolve issues and ensure a smooth merchant experience.
• Prepare regular portfolio updates and track key KPIs, including activation, transaction volume, upselling, cross‑selling, retention, and portfolio growth.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales, Merchant Success, or a related role.
• Previous experience in Fintech, E‑commerce, SaaS/Software, or Payment Solutions is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Sales‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
• Ability to analyze merchant performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Strong coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
