Sales Assistant – Retail

About the role

The Retail Sales Representative at IKEA Mall of Arabia plays a key part in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will engage with customers, guide them through product choices, and ensure the store meets its merchandising and stock standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the assigned area daily to verify price labels, product tags, and promotional media are correctly placed.
• Monitor stock levels, recommend orders to the shopkeeper, and coordinate with the Procurement Executive.
• Provide attentive, empathetic service to customers, gathering feedback and addressing their needs.
• Prepare pro‑forma invoices based on customer requirements and follow up on quotations.
• Promote sales by identifying opportunities, suggesting alternatives, and upselling to meet targets.
• Communicate suggestions for improving sales performance and flag slow‑moving items.
